In the magnificent setting of the library of the Monteripido Convent, the best of the region’s olive oil production was celebrated. Oro Verde dell’Umbria, organised by the Chamber of Commerce, confirmed itself as much more than an awards ceremony: it is the recognition that showcases one of the most authentic and precious expressions of the region’s agri-food heritage, the extra virgin olive oil. The winners will go on to the finals of the national Ercole Olivario award, to be held in Perugia on 21st and 22nd April.
