Recipe: Stewed Lentils

Ingredients: 500g of lentils, 120g of bacon, 2 onions, 1-2 celery stalks, 2 carrots, 60g extra virgin olive oil, parsley, salt, pepper, (broth).

Put the lentils in a deep pan with cold water and bring them to boil. While they are cooking start to cook the onions, carrots and the celery in extra virgin olive oil. Add the diced bacon and cook for a while. Add the parsley finely chopped and the salt and pepper. Cook on a low heat and add water if necessary. Cooking time 20/30 minutes.
